Evaluate the success of the pupa short animation project- standard


my standard: In the animation produce process, it reminds me to make a "cute" "friendly" and "simple" animation. it will not be a commercial work. the target audience will be student who want to know how to make animation or animator. age will be 12-25. I hope that it will be interesting and nice looking for animation stuff.

I did some research of Taiwan short animation competition. and my last animation already be selected into the "bahamute" 2013 animation competition. but it did not win the prize. I thought the reason was color seting and story. in this time, I analysis the features of winner animation.

standard: new technique-2d to 3d (camera projection)                 10%
          color-cute and nice looking                                30%
          big angle movement to give the visual simulate             40%
          post-modern style- use abstract motion to add the feeling  20%


art direction:  animation works by studio 4.c  Gobelin animation


from the start point until today, I am quite satisfy with the works already done.
the every point was achieved highly in my standard.especially big angel movement and new technique.
