At the forefront-pop style and abstract motion graphic used together

TIME
>It cost 0.5 month to prepare for the pre-production. It contains a "chase" story line.
>It cost 2.5 month to produce and make it finished.

REVIEW----about the art direction

the image was found in the commercial work from studio 4c. and it was big perspective angle action. this is what I prefer to make. 

the image was found in the work of studio 4c official website. the animation was combining the graphic element with the character movement. these art animation was what I want to make. 

these gif animation was the strager of sword by japan bone animation company.another one was a new short animation by France animation student. I was prefer to make the animated action like these gif animation. so I think these art as the direction of my animation was quite useful and accurate.

at the forefront-complex action analysis.

this shot was I draw in Flash. but I made a rough design on paper, then analysis the energy of the whole action. for slow down and fast in , I made a chart to show me the speed. 

AT FOREFRONT ---about the painting style and graphic color

I edit the moon graphic from the real image . it become a pop style graphic to fit the graphic in my animation.

SUBJECTIVE COLOR DESIGN BASED ON POST-MODERN STYLE
the story is about human dream. so the whole color will be designed as dreaming and tale style.I did not forces myself to draw a very detailed and hard edge in the process of painting. It aims to create the feeling of freedom.

this shot was big perspective angle movement based on disney 12 golden rules. slow out and follow action ,second action. the cloth was followed the the body. so I redraw the the two element in two layers. I was satisfied with this shot. and I try to make some abstract motion tests to help the following shots. the star will glow and out of the lighting effect. 

At the forefront- 2d to 3d space by camera projection and its similar example

camera projection used in my animation 

camera projection at example of KOREA animation " enter the mind through the mouth". the animator want to create a 3D space with 2d picture painting style.he create a 3d model in 3d max, and then painted the texture in painter.

 the creator of the animation use 3dmax. He said that he want to create a picturesque style 3d world. and he treat the whole screen as a 2d painting.

he exported the line frames from 3d max, then he put it into the painter software. painter is a software which can paint as traditional oil picture style.

he painted in anther layer with oil brush .

finally , he got a beatiful painting style picture, then it will be used as a texture to cover the 3d model.

this picture shows that another way to create the painting style 3d space. the different is each single plogon will be texture. it need more time and it need UV.

I have learned some process from this animation.

Research as a important method

fist step, it is important to find the fist hand sources for working subject.

my sources also contains the studio 4c works in the official website.all these sources help me to get a new idea.

in the producing of pupa animation, almost all time was followed the gantt chart,some times the work was delate to another day,but it soon repaired by the management of time table.
